Public Transportation
Unlike big cities like Metro Manila or elsewhere in highly urbanized places, where they have subway trains or buses, Cebu doesn’t have the best in the world, yet. Inexpensive travel are: jeeps and taxi cabs. Jeepney fare is P6 minimum (US$ .15) and taxi fare is P30 (US$ .75) flag down rate, with P2.50 increments (US$ .06). US$ 1 = P40 as of blog post time.

Jeepneys and taxis are plenty in the city. You can also call the infoline, tru 114 directory assistance dialing to charter a taxi ride. You can also contact CebuTaxiService.

Weather/Climate
Summer is from March-May; Monsoon is June-December. Summer and rainy days can be both extreme, but in general Cebu City is tropical.
