Japan has invaded the Philippines again! (Particularly in Cebu, this time).
Instead of Japanese soldiers, troops of multi-colored costumed kids (even adults) flocked the entire UP grounds last February 9, 2008 — while I was in JY Square en route to SM Cebu.
This is the day when Anime comes to life! This is Otaku Festival!
It is the first time in Cebu to hold an event like this and it was a really wonderful sight and experience just to be there. It really brings out the child within me…
As if I’ve grown enough.
(More photos after the jump.)
